Best family-friendly restaurants with play areas?

Have a 3-year-old with endless energy and need restaurants where they can burn off some steam while we eat. McDonald's PlayPlace is getting old - what other options are there locally?

Chuck E. Cheese obviously, but also try Peter Piper Pizza - similar concept but usually less crowded. The food's actually not bad either.
Some of the newer fast-casual places have outdoor patios with more room to roam. Not quite play areas but better than cramped indoor seating.
